Matthew McRae, Chief Executive Officer

Matthew McRae has served as our Chief Executive Officer since February 2018. Mr. McRae previously served as NETGEAR’s Senior Vice President of Strategy since October 2017. Mr. McRae previously served as the Chief Technology Officer of Vizio Inc. from March 2010 to October 2017, and prior to that served as its Vice President and General Manager, Advanced Products Group, from August 2008 to March 2010. From July 2007 to August 2008, Mr. McRae served as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development of Fabrik (now part of HGST, Inc.), a provider of data storage and next generation web services, and prior to that, from 2001 to June 2007, was the Senior Director, Worldwide Business Development at Cisco Systems Inc., a leader in networking services. Mr. McRae has served on the board of Dedicated Hosting Services, Inc. (d/b/a Streaming Media Hosting), a private content delivery network company, since 2014, and on the board of the UC Irvine Institute for Innovation since June 2015. He previously served on the board of the Leatherby Center for Entrepreneurship and Business Ethics at the Business School of Chapman University from 2012 to 2015. Mr. McRae holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.

Kurt Binder , Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer

Kurt Binder has served as our Chief Financial Officer since September 2022 and as our Chief Operating Officer since February 2024. From July 2017 to September 2022 Mr. Binder was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of CalAmp Corp., a provider of telematics devices and software services within the transportation and logistics industry. Prior to his time at CalAmp, Mr. Binder spent more than seven years as the Chief Financial Officer at VIZIO, Inc., a U.S. television and consumer electronics company. Before Vizio, Mr. Binder was the Chief Accounting Officer for Applied Medical Resources, Inc. and was also Assurance and Advisory Business Services Partner at Ernst & Young LLP from 1997 to 2009. Mr. Binder has both his BBA and MBA in Accounting/Finance from Loyola University Maryland.

Brian Busse, General Counsel

Brian Busse has served as our General Counsel since July 2018. Previously Mr. Busse was NETGEAR’s Vice President Intellectual Property & Litigation where he was responsible for overseeing NETGEAR’s worldwide litigation, intellectual property, privacy and licensing matters. Before joining NETGEAR in September 2009, Mr. Busse served as Counsel in the Intellectual Property Litigation Department of O’Melveny & Myers LLP in Menlo Park, California beginning in December 2008 where he represented public and private technology companies in a wide range of intellectual property litigation matters, including all aspects of patent litigation, including trial, discovery, law and motion, and claim construction.

Mr. Busse began practicing law with the New York firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, advising clients on various areas of litigation. Mr. Busse holds a J.D. from The University of Texas at Austin School of Law, an M.S. and Ph.D. in Physics from Oregon State University, and a B.S. in Physics from Virginia Tech. Mr. Busse is admitted to practice law in California and New York.

Lily Knowles, Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Customer Care

Lily Knowles has served as our SVP of Sales, Marketing and Customer Care since June 2020. Previously, Ms. Knowles served as our SVP of Marketing and Customer Care from January 2018 to June 2020. Prior to joining Arlo, Ms. Knowles was the Senior Vice President of Marketing at VIZIO where she led all aspects of marketing across all of VIZIO’s product lines and services, including corporate marketing, product marketing, retail marketing, and digital marketing. Ms. Knowles has held senior marketing, NPI and GTM leadership roles with consumer electronics and technology companies including Fabrik, Linksys, and Universal Electronics. She holds an MBA from the University of California, Irvine, and a B.A. of Biochemistry from Azusa Pacific University.

Scott McManigal, Senior Vice President of Design and Experience

Scott McManigal has served as our SVP of Design and Experience since March 2018, where he is responsible for Arlo’s user experience design and research, industrial design and mechanical engineering. Previously, Mr. McManigal was the Vice President of Design at VIZIO, where he set the creative vision and drove design, definition and execution for all products in VIZIO’s portfolio. Prior to joining VIZIO in 2009, Mr. McManigal held creative leadership, product development, engineering and design positions at OpenPeak, Herbst Lazar Bell, BMW/Designworks, Mattel Toys and Patton Design. He holds a B.A. from Stanford University, where he studies Product Design.

Antoinette Switzer, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Human Resources

Antoinette Switzer has served as our SVP of Worldwide Human Resources since July 2018. Previously, Ms. Switzer was NETGEAR’s Vice President of Human Resources International, where she was responsible for overseeing all aspects of Human Resource and Talent Management for NETGEAR’s EMEA and APAC Operations since July 2013. Ms. Switzer was also the Managing Director of NETGEAR International Limited in Ireland from September 2011 to July 2018. Ms. Switzer joined NETGEAR in 2006 as their Senior Human Resource Manager for EMEA, and subsequently held the position of director EMEA and APAC based in Cork, Ireland.

Before joining NETGEAR, Ms. Switzer held the position of European Human Resource Manager with Ryanair based out of Stansted, London where she had responsibility for the setup and running of several European Airline bases as well as full Human Resource management for thousands of employees and contractors across Ryanair’s extensive European network.

Ms. Switzer began her career with PC Company Gateway 2000 in Dublin, Ireland where she gained extensive experience in European Human Resource Management, call center management and technical support. Ms. Switzer holds an Honors Bachelor of Business (BBS) from Dublin City University, and a Master of Science with Honors ( MSC) from University College Cork. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development.

Julie Nash, Chief Information Officer

Julie Nash has served as our CIO since June of 2022, responsible for all ecommerce, business and commercial applications, infrastructure, cyber security and cloud platform operations. Previously, Ms. Nash was our VP of Information Technology. Prior to joining Arlo, Ms. Nash was an infrastructure leader at TransUnion where she developed teams responsible for all global data centers, cloud cost management, capacity management, disaster recovery, customer technical support and infrastructure engineering. Ms. Nash has also held progressive roles in technology at McDonald’s Corporation, Kraft Foods and Ernst & Young. At these large enterprise organizations, she was responsible for various teams in application development, vendor management, data analytics and IT/business relations. She holds a BS in Business from DePaul University.

Samir Kapoor, Chief Technology Officer

Samir Kapoor has served as our Chief Technology Officer since March 2024. Previously, Mr. Kapoor held executive leadership roles at Life360, Fitbit, Qualcomm and several early stage and growth startups. His background includes deep technical, operational & product development expertise across software, hardware, services and data and he has a proven track record of driving growth and transformation. Mr. Kapoor received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and holds over 50 U.S. patents granted or pending for his innovations.
